WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This event is for you whether you speak full-time, speaking is one stream of income as part of your business, or you speak as a thought leader representing your company at industry or internal events.
WHAT WILL WE DO?
You will spend learning about The LIT Method so you know what elements are critical in crafting an impactful message or speech. You will have solo time to work on your presentation right there in the room and share and get ideas from the group.
WILL FOOD BE SERVED?
Light snacks and beverages will be available throughout the day and a healthy lunch will be served. All food allergies can be accommodated.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Dress comfortably and casually. We will chat roundtable style and do a lot of writing, storyboarding, and sharing with stretch breaks in between.
WHAT IS THE PARKING SITUATION?
There is plenty of free parking in the parking lot surrounding the building.
WHAT IS BUILDING ACCESSIBILITY
Unfortunately there is NOT an elevator. The studio is on the 2nd floor up a flight of steps. Please let me know if you need assistance or you have mobility needs.
about kristen Brown, CSP
Kristen Brown has been speaking by choice since elementary school, by default as part of her 15-year corporate career, and as a speaking business owner since 2009. For the last 10 years she has been a full-time keynote speaker, author, coach, and trainer for companies and clients around the world including Microsoft, General Mills, Minnesota Vikings, Boston Scientific, Lenovo, Target, Meta/Facebook, and many more.
Kristen also has her CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) designation from the National Speakers Association where she has been a member for over 10 years. The rigorous CSP designation requires specific income requirements, client reviews, video submissions and ratings by fellow CSP speakers, and more. There are only 360 active CSPs worldwide…so she knows what she’s doing!
In addition to her work as a speaker she has two bestselling books and she holds a Master’s in Integral Theory (the art and science of multiple perspectives and human development) and several certifications in holistic coaching and wellness.
Kristen has shared her expertise on media around the globe including Live with Kelly, Psychology Today, CNN, Forbes, and many more.
She was widowed in 2007 while in a high pressure corporate leadership role and with a new baby during the economic collapse which led her through a deep journey that brings a unique perspective to her message.
